«Interference» is the second single from my experimental cycle «Cyberpunk Ballads». The track explores the theme of memory, loss, and what makes us human, even when we’re not really human anymore. In the sound, I combined a heavy atmospheric background with elements of glitch and static to convey the feeling of a «breaking signal». The text is written on behalf of a robot that walks through the ruins and tries to understand: are the feelings it is experiencing love or just a glitch in the program? I was inspired by the aesthetics of Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, and our personal conversations about pain and memory.
