Echoes Beyond the Stars is a cinematic progressive concept album inspired by the grand tradition of hard science fiction. Across eight interconnected songs, it explores humanity’s encounter with ancient civilizations, impossible cosmic engineering, first contact, existential uncertainty, and the enduring pursuit of knowledge.
Blending cinematic orchestration, progressive metal, industrial textures, folk influences, and atmospheric post-rock, the album follows an emotional journey from awe and discovery through fear and revelation to quiet hope. Rather than telling a single story, each song captures a different moment in humanity’s relationship with the universe—where forgotten megastructures, silent stars, and impossible horizons become symbols of curiosity, resilience, and inheritance.
Inspired by the visionary works of Charles Sheffield and Liu Cixin, Echoes Beyond the Stars is an original musical exploration of one timeless question:
What remains after civilizations fade?
